Can anyone explain to me in simple terms what has happened between UK government and DUP that now allows Irish women to come to UK for free abortions? I express no comment about the rights/wrongs, I just want to understand the steps.

Nothing has happened between the DUP and the government in relation to this.
Previously NI women had to pay approx. 1400 quid for an abortion in England, they will now be able to do this direct with theNHS in England.
