There's quite a difference between being missed rather than noticed missing. You of course Talbot fit in both camps.

It wouldn't bother me if no one noticed I was missing.
It WOULD bother me if Sqad tried to declare me dead. For one thing, he'd have to undo my top half clothing to listen to my chest with his stethoscope.
I am going to keep a note pinned to my vest saying "I am only sleeping"
