I have just watched the above documentary on Channel Four, and I can honestly say it was the most extraordinary TV program I have ever watched !

I agree Gness. But every time a new well-known person comes out as transgender, the better it is for the future. A recent was that surprised me was Frank ( now Kellie) Maloney. I can't think of a more macho world than boxing !

My old Union secretary became a woman about 10-15 years ago, and some of the Members had a very hard time accepting it. But she has continued to do a sterling job for the Union, and I think that only a minority of people now show their ignorance.
