This vast country also boasts heaps of history and architectural delights. So take a tour around some of the most renowned places and witness the beauty for yourself.

Preparation:

It isn’t advisory to arrive in Africa with large amounts of local currency, you should take smaller travellers cheques which can be cashed as and when they are needed or cancelled if lost or stolen. You should also ask around and find out how much luggage is advisory and what style luggage is best for a safari trip.

Africa is notorious for its high temperatures and vast open land so remember to stock up with sun block, Africa isn’t called sunburnt country for nothing-so ensure you don’t get burnt and ruin your holiday. Also sunglasses will come in handy while out in the brightness of the daytime sun and will better equip you for seeing the most breathtaking landscape. Another must is insect repellent as mosquito’s can be very common and you don’t want to risk getting bitten and swelling up like a balloon - that would just ruin the holiday snaps.
