Hello all Jude take care of your back, you have only got one. Even the garden isn't worth it. I am glad you had a good time at the footy. We are braced for tomorrow, the unknown is never pleasant is it. Neti, what are you eating tonight, take a tip from e and stay off anything like poppy or sesame seeds till you are all healed. That's a great book, I was laughing out loud at the excerpt.
I spent today getting my second lot of seeds in, cardoons, pennyroyal, sweet ciceley and asparagus peas.
This is a great website even if you only dream over it. Mr Etty's assistant is a nice guy called Ray, he gave me advice about boiling my whalebone stays for soup.....long story

Morning all. Cool but pleasant here. Dh has gone off quite cheerful and positive, his appointment is 08.15 but as its his first they said get here earlier if you like. Darling Shughy did his rolling in poo thing, happily I have the cleanup down to a fine routine now.

Erm, I had to read your post a few times Jude to understand why you put your post in the flower bed...I was obviously distracted by the mental image of the streaker, can't say I've ever had the pleasure :o)....and then I realised, haha, is it POTS?...lol. I'm sure it'll all look lovely, we'll be expecting pics :o)

I love the letter in the book about Guardian readers..."fuelled only by a diet of lentils and aubergine hot-pot"...hahaha. Apologies to any lentil lovers ;o) I'll see if I come across any short exerpts I can pass on...some aren't particularly pc.

Well I'm not sure how I'm going to spend today (start of the world's end tonight don't forget) I'll see where the wind takes me man...probably Norfolk and beyond if the expected gales over the next few days are anything to go by.

no news here I am keeping busy. he said he would try to text but some places there is no reception and some places you aren't allowed. Thing is when he had it done in hospital when his kidney blocked, his blood pressure dropped very low very quickly. He said it was horrible like dying. He went crazy and tried to rip the tubes out. We are both SURE it was because it was done as an emergency but you can't help worrying can you? off to keep busy....

Morning all, couldn't open that book thingy but will try again. Very warm here, been for brekky and a long walk with hija. did shopping.

Yes woofy I am staying away from ground pepper and everything small. Have a syringe thing to wash the hole out with every night to prevent food staying up there.

Not chemo Neti, they are filtering his blood cos the kidney has had a wobble.

DH is home again, slight problem meant that they couldn't complete the dialysis BUT BUT BUT his blood results have improved markedly since tuesday!. He 's going back to see the doc on tuesday but it does seem that things aren't as black as we thought (huge grin)

no Neti he can't. I would/will give one of mine but the anti rejection drugs give any remaining cancer cells a free run to grow. Its a bit of a barsteward.
