I had this installed on my PC at the recommendation of my bank. Then something happened and the bank website no longer displayed the Trusteer green icon. (I don't remember the details)

Today, I had a pop-ups from Trusteer telling me to switch off the computer for installation. I couldn't get rid of it so dropped it into the tray.

On my return to the computer this evening , I now have a Trusteer icon, top right and my Screen looks slightly different...what's happened?

Windows 7, Chrome browser.

Tills a lot of sites that rely on money transactions and transfers use Trusteer and when they note that you do too, you will always have a smoother transaction and in some case no bank verification fannying about to go through. If you call up the trusteer Endpoint dashboard you can untick the "Tray Icon"visible and choose hide tray icon.

Thank you, Togo. I have done that.

Do you know why it has suddenly reappeared on my PC and why my Chrome pages look different?
Nope. But it may have been a system or security upgrade. What the heck are you doing stuck with the luddites on W7? Afraid I have no recent knowledge of 7 or XP. I have my Trusteer tucked away in hidden icons sited in the task bar with my sat nav app, hardware removal tool, defender etc.

Thanks again. I didn't get round to installing Windows 10.

I think I was breaking up a few looms at the time. :-)
Never mind Tills. Are you good? Beautiful up here today. I started painting that fence. I look like a Jackson Pollack effort I have so much paint splattered on me.

I'm fine, thank you, Togo. My decorators have finished.

Nice colour that fence of yours. A bit like Jade White, only darker. :-)
Haha Tills. It is Cuprinol "Fresh Rosemary" and I have freckles from head to toe of it, and look like an alien from one of the Star Wars movies. :))

You should have worn a mob-cap.
Haha again.....I wear a Ben Franklin cap. A mob cap is a bit girlie.:))

Ta for BA Tills. Takes me to 187. Did you catch my post to Capito in media and tv yesterday? You would like to listen as well.

What is that? It looks like a dead animal.
Question Author
I did. I answered on it. Are you not well?
Ooops you did too. I am very well despite my Shiraz amnesia. Nearly ready for the sandman and an early start tomorrow.

Goodnight. Sweet dreams and thanks for the reassurance that Trusteer Rapport is ok to allow.
Tills a lot of sites that rely on money transactions and transfers use Trusteer and when they note that you do too, you will always have a smoother transaction and in some case no bank verification fannying about to go through. Like you I first let it upload when I started online banking because the bank recommended it was installed. Now if you do not follow the advice of your bank and stop it operating, and at some stage have a hack or security breach, is the bank going to say ……...your fault, you didn't run Trusteer? I am happy with it and have said so on previous threads in the past. There is always someone that is liable to poo poo it on here though with recommendations for other 3rd party bolt on measures. Trusteer is non intrusive and you will not be spammed out with emails to upgrade, or warnings that you are about to die if you do not purchase the latest all singing all dancing version.

Interestingly, my PC seems to have righted itself and it looks like it has always done. Something odd has gone on, though.
