Why does my laptop screen freeze occasionally, when I log on to certain sites? Nothing moves on the screen and my cursor wont budge.
I am having to switch laptop off, then on again, to get back to normal.

I had these problems, and more when I used Internet Explorer. But now I have changed over to Chrome, almost all have disappeared !

I resisted the change for years, as I have been using various versions of IE since the min 1990's but Chrome is much better. It did take a few days to adjust but its worth it in the end !

Have you tried pressing keys ALT,CTRL and Delete to see what programs are running. Delete the program/s shown and it may clear.
Press them all together not one at a time.

Thank you, Mikey, I am on IE so that may be the problem. It doesnt happen very often but it is annoying when it does.
Just because you have used IE doesn't mean you can't have more than 1 provider. I currently have two providers..if one seems to give hassle I switch over to the other one.
