iphone4 ringtone help

Can anyone help - is there a way to extend time between phone ringing and voicemail activating on an iphone4. Currently often doesn't ring long enough to answer in time. Have checked seetings but can't find anything there.

Prudie, 30 secs is the maximum before divert, your service provider can set this for you if it's not already at the max, or there is a series of codes for you to do it yourself but certain elements depend on who you're with
