Presumably you have the Sage installation disks
Install Sage on the new computer (from the installation disks)
Run sage on the old and perform a backup to memory stick
Run Sage on the new and restore from the backup.
You will probably need to contact Sage to transfer the licence.

are you sure it says LC1 ?? as that's not a standard name for a port, or does it say LPT1?

How is the printer connected?

And yes, it's perfectly possible to move sage to another computer. install sage on the new computer from the original disks, do any updates availble. and then you just have to transfer the data files over.

Sorry yes LPT1, not being familiar with sage is the transfer of data easy or can I lose data?

The printer is connected by the long multi pin socket
if you want to transfer your data (correct me if I'm wrong, chuck), you'll need to save them e.g. to a memory stick and copy them over to the new computer?

Were it only so simple, Sage seems to protect itself from being copied.
