Gmails Won't Send

I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

it worked out fine, woofgang - the place was almost empty so they did me too. Apparently they had 1000 Pfeizer vaccines but used them all up last week, hence the hiccup. But they now have AstraZeneca ones that came in today, so that's what we've had.

Cant see us having the jab anytime soon! The cases are rising daily here!
On a happy note my new Bosch vacuum is wonderful. I am deeply ashamed of the dirt it has collected in 10 mins!!

Morning from a very clean villa!!
Just back from the hospital having has an echogram on my boobies. Had to wear two masks and hospital was very quiet as its closed to most people. No visitors allowed and only covid , maternity and paediatrics open!
Then we popped into Tesco. Oh my such empty shelves, thanks Brexit. No marmite but we bought Tesco's own and its fine! Prices are the same atm but for sure they will go up. Food here even Spanish food is always more expensive as we have to pay for transport to the island! It sucks being rich! ;-)

oh that is great Jno....and glad you like your new vac Neti. We had a damp mild day here and Rab spent most of it in the garden watching the birds so he went to sleep after tea and is still snoring. Bless him he's getting a bit deaf so I have to make sure he knows where I am and not sneak up on him by accident. I did get half of my houseplants sorted, some of the orchids were climbing out of their pots and the african violets needed a tidy up. Tomorrow I will do the sun lovers.

My 80 y o sister missed her vaccine appointment as she wont open her mail for ages due to covid! So middle sis drove her to the clinic and explained and they jabbed her immediately! Now only me to go!!

Hello all from drizzly damp dull Norfolk
No sign here either and Mr S will shortly be 75.However I'm pleased for you and your OH Jno as in your situation it's vital.
The only over 80's I know who have had it are my brothers and the bionic woman,my SiL's old friend.
Our surgery has no info at all online.They've gone down the pan since they merged into one big group so I'm not holding my breath.
The way things have been mismanaged re covid doesn't give me much confidence I'm afraid but I remain optimistic as that's all you can do.
Life goes on though and I'm slowly losing the plot. I wasted an hour of my life yesterday looking for the answer to a crossword clue. Spicy Mexican sausage ,5 letters. I now know more about sausages than ever until I reread the clue ...which was spicy Mexican SAUCE ...what a dope I am.

shaney, apparently the Germans are advising against the AZ vaccine for over-65s as so far there are not enough results in from the trials (which are still continuing). Perhaps I should get a Pfizer one in the other arm just in case.

I always wonder what it is that happens on people's 65th birthday to suddenly make them different....
My sis got her invitation today (national scheme not GP) she has various choices of venue so it doing google mapping and thinking. She doesn't drive so anywhere she goes will be by hire car

Just had a surprise phone call from the hospital giving me a date for my operation! I politely pointed out that I am not expecting an operation and she apologised! Then mind goes in whacko mood and wonders if they found something in breast scan yesterday! I'm pretty sure they didnt! And okay am I phoning my mexico as it's such a bother and we can never speak to Mexico herself!!

woofgang, I'm not sure if 65 makes any difference (I suppose it used to be the age you stopped working so might be in regular touch with fewer people), but it may just be that for some reason AZ didn't use enough of them in trials, so the authorities couldn't recommend the vaccien be used on them until they'd tested some more.

Good luck with your operation, neti! You may emerge with all sort of new things.

Hard week at the hospitals here ... this week OH has had Covid jab, Covid test, blood test, Covid test, chemo, Covid test, blood test and blood transfusion. We are all exhausted.

well, I hope so, woofgang. We have just acquired a breadmaker. Considering that six months ago OH was not even expecting to see Christmas, this is a sort of vote for the future, which cheers me up.

Nice and bright but very cold .Icy wind.
That all sounds very gruelling for you both Jno.Hopefully you can relax for a while now and make some bread.
Mr S has had an invite for the vaccine but it means a round trip to Norwich to a hub.Bit difficult for us re transport and stoma management but it does say you can wait until the GP surgery rolls it out so I think that's what we'll do.I think we'll be OK until we can just walk down the road to the surgery.We've survived so far.
Nothing exciting to report otherwise, only that I've finished a thousand piece jigsaw of the Trevi fountain.Sky always takes me ages but gushing water takes even longer. I started it well before Christmas :)

Oh dear jno that is a burden. Hope you are both ok.
We've just been to free covid testing arrangement by government and we are both negative. So relieved. It was a tad uncomfortable and the nurse could see I'd had a septoplastia. In and out in 45 mins excellent! We were fast tracked due.to age but they left me standing outdoors as the chappie didnt realise I was old! I soon sorted him out!!
