Gmails Won't Send
I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:
"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"
Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.
Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://prod

I had to stay home with Shughy unless Sis was here and then he started having fits which meant he needed me all the time...then came lockdown, then a summer mostly too hot to take a dog out in a car. Rab is getting a bit creaky and wobbly as well now. He's happy and spoilt but his go anywhere do anything days are behind him...and here we are back in lockdown.
yes, we're managing okay, considering one of us has multiple ailments. I am slowly depleting my vast pile of DVDs (though there are no charity shops to unload them on at the moment, and have also sorted out about 30 books (so far) to give away - though they'll be sitting her on the floor until December too. So my good works haven't actually saved an inch of space just yet, but I feel virtuous.
I do miss travelling, though, I was very fond of that.

We're Ok ...bumbling around.I've felt a bit under the weather lately. Thought I was getting a cold but didn't and then got a flare up instead which makes me feel grumpy and AB is not the place come when I feel grumpy :)
Hope you're all OK though including your OH Jno.
I've got a box of books and a couple of bags of clothes for the charity shop lumbering the place up but no charity shops seem to be collecting atm.
I tried Icollectclothes but they don't operate in our area.
Otherwise it's the same old ,juggling the online grocery shopping,mundane household tasks and watching too much TV. Bit of reading,knitting and jigsawing thrown in just to ring the changes.Oh and fitted the new doorbell. Easy peasy. Stick bell push on door frame. Put batteries in the widget , place on the hallstand and pick a chime. It didn't have the William Tell overture though,so we settled for ding dong.
Have you found the right series of The Crown, Neti ?

Cold here. Mr N.cooked anlovely roast chicken. Hija got the hump as I not allow her to use my car ( shes inclined to drink!) So shes going to live in San An tomorrow. I cba to argue and just want a quiet lifestyle she can go. Says theres a job in a bar there. Suits me!

Few and far between these days but extra pain on top of constant pain when it does happen.What can't be cured must be endured I'm afraid.No good whining on about it.
Time for bed.My neighbour is coming early tomorrow to do a bit of tidying up in the garden and measure up for a new fence at the side so I'll have some canine company.I've got Bonios in stock.

It's been a nice sunny day here although on the cold side .
Garden looks a lot tidier,all the leaves swept up and stuff cut and strimmed back. Things past their sell by date dug out.New fence should be done some time next week.It involves digging out an old ivy stump as well and he's going to source a new side gate for us.
The dog is a dear old boy and really well behaved.He wandered about in here and had his biscuits and a good old fuss then made himself comfortable alongside me on the settee and went to sleep!

well done, shaney. The council have finally cleared up the pavements after a 3-week break; the leaves had been piled more than a foot high. This was partly because I'd been sneaking out in the middle of the night dumping oak leaves fom the back garden onto the pile then shuffling them a bit so nobody would notice (the street trees aren't oaks).
We can put them into garden bins to be collected, but there's only one more collection till they go to their winter calendar (once a month) and I've already got another two bins full with more to come.
I might try putting two bins out - we've only paid for one but I doubt the binmen look at our records and check.

hello all. I have been COLD. I had 48nhours when i could not get warm and kept falling asleep. Thought I was coming down with something but all fine again today. Sorry to hear you have been in such pain Shaney. I hope its settling now.

Apart from keeping paths clear I let my leaves rot where they lie. My neighbour picks up INDIVIDUAL leaves, seriously I have seen him do it!
Craziness today. I have got a cheeky young robin who will come very close to me when I am putting food out. Today it went quickly (I put out very small amounts at a time because rats) I was clearing up after eating toast for lunch and must have dropped crumbs because I came back from the kitchen and there he was hopping round the living room having a good old pig out. The robin and I had an "oh shoot" moment, Rab just stood there like it was nothing to do with him. Robin flew straight at the fly chains door thing, bottled it at the last minute and hid behind a chair so i had to tie the chains back and then gently guide him out the door with a roll of wrapping paper. 5 minutes later he was back on the birdfeeder! and I have got poo on my clean curtains. Blooming wildlife!
