Is There A Way Of Combining Word Docs Into One Document?
I have 6 separate word documents (which are in chronological order) on laptop (using windows of that is helpful) which I would like to save as one whole document, so that each doc follows on rather than having to open 6 separate word documents.
The only way I know how to do this is to copy and paste each one after the other into a new document, but there are added pictures and text boxes as well etc which is going to make this very time consuming.
Just thought I would ask before I begin using this method.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have never tried this but this is what I found.
'You can merge six different Word documents into one by either using the "Text from File" option within Word's "Insert" tab, or by manually copying and pasting each document into a new, blank Word document.
Method 1: Using "Text from File" in Word
Open a new, blank Word document.
Go to the Insert tab on the ribbon.
In the "Text" group, click on Object, then select Text from File.
Navigate to the location of your six Word documents.
Select all six documents by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking each file individually.
Click Insert. The documents will be merged in the order they appear in the file list, so arrange them in your desired order before inserting if needed.'
