Is the legacy of the Olympics really worth the cost?

At the start of the year the cost of the 2012 Olympics were raised by ?900 million, in February it was estimated that games would in fact cost ?9 billion in total, further to this Ministers claimed that neither the Nation Lottery Fund nor UK Taxpayers should fund the games. With the UK footing an ever increasing bill currently standing at ?9 billion we ask, is the legacy of the Olympics really worth the cost?
