Who will be placing an order for these? I'm going to buy some in for Mr.AC, as he gets a little greedy when it comes to sprouts, resulting in the rest of the household suffering from nausea for the next few hours! Oh, and I'll save on air freshener, too.

At least it's only once a year, lol!
Looking at the illustration of the Christmas Dinner I see there are only 3 sprouts on the plate. Surely there's not enough there to get the wind up, or is this whole story a windup?.

3 is enough to cause damage, sandyRoe (although I counted 5!)
You're right, Always Confused, there are two more covered with gravy. And the cauli wouldn't help.
You should give him jerusalem artichoke soup ,it is really delicious but it makes 50% of peoples pee stink
Should sort out the men from the boys!
One is enough to cause damage ! I LOVE sprouts but OMG, you do not want to get downwind of anyone after the Christmas sprouts. Remember, always keep a large can of air freshener around and if you have a dog, even better. Oh naughty boy Fido ! Was that you! Dirty boy!!

My first thought was that it maybe had a cork.
Which member of the Royals was it who broke wind at a Sandringham Christmas dinner and turned to the Paul Burrell, the butler, and said: 'Will you stop that?
'Certainly', he replied. 'Which way did it go?'

dogs definitely have their uses, janbee! The things mine get the blame for is unbelievable!

Butterbun, if I can't afford to purchase these pants in a large quantity I might save the corks from the wine. A good recycling technique I'd say, and a jolly good excuse to drink more wine :)
If only the gas could be trapped somehow it could be used on St Stephen's Day to reheat the leftovers.
I don't like sprouts...it's fried onions that do it for me!
Sprouts are an everyday veg for me - eat them most weeks.
Strange invention, surely tight rubber pants do the job, even if your rear seems to grow as the day progresses ?

Luckily I don't like sprouts so do not partake.
Sprouts are the Devils Food, so is it any surprise that they produce the smell of Brimstone ?
Oh no Mikey, I LOVE sprouts. It's just that one has to live alone to REALLY enjoy them ! You just can't imagine the Queen getting wellied into a plate of them on Christmas Day can you?
A perfect present for a windy relative?

The ladies version in that link seem a tad too revealing. ^
Janbee...I and Willy. my Yorkshire Wolfhound live "alone" as it were, and even he won't eat sprouts, so we are both a very happy and contented couple.

However, those Silesian Sausages that they sell in Lidl are a very different matter !
