Stanley Matthews at Meadow Lane?

I have memories of seeing Stanley Matthews play at Meadow Lane around 1962. However I have searched the history of Notts County and can find no record of any game between Blackpool or Stoke City v Notts County around that time. I've even wondered if it was at the City Ground. Can any older members shed any light on this because I'm beginning to question my own sanity?

I believe there was a centenary match between Notts County and an England XI in the 1961/62 season which is possibly where Satnley Matthews played

I researched Notts County's history and could find no record of any match played around that time that featured Stanley Matthews but because I can remember the orange shirt I looked through Blackpool's history. Lo and behold found a match at City Ground in March 1961 between Forest and Blackpool that ended 0-0 and there he was among the listed players. I was only 14 at the time so understandably couldn't remember what ground I was on.
