I’ve decided to send everyone cards through post from now other than ...email, phone, text etc... Seems more personal.. Do you think it’s a good idea?

I think this site is a good one to design your personalized greeting card, share it and send it via email or SMS. It provides you with a perfect designer to design your card without having to be a professional designer

I agree it's more personal but then again it often costs more for the stamp than the card.
I would, definately, but only the kids do. Family/friends seeem to think a text is enough. I would love a friend to hand me a card, maybe its why I hate my birthday now-I feel ignored...
yeah 'real' cards are always better:)
I'm not interested in receiving cards. They are just clutter or something else that need recycling.

Miss sentimental, me :-)
I love cards in the post and I have friends with whom I exchange letters!
Why thank you selvana....

Great idea..... I am looking forward to it so much.
This idea of sending birthday greetings by email, or phone, or text, or internet based personalised e-cards have only been around since the widespread availability and adoption of the internet. For most people, the default method for offering greetings and congratulations has been via the post and mail.

Most people would appreciate and value a card or letter through the mail more, seeing it as symbolic of a greater measure of thought and effort - love, even - than lines of text on your phone, or an email can offer....
A real card by post - nothing beats a hand written message /signature ! I know friends who send each other the same card year after year - to and fro it goes with a new message, and fresh pages added in. By now it is a historical document !
It's a great idea but it'll cost you a fortune. There's thousands of us ABers out here. :o)

Seriously though, I much prefer a proper card, sent through the post. An online card just doesn't do it for me. I expect it's better than no card at all though.

Cards are best :)
It's a lovely feeling to get cards through the post as you can display them and each time you look at them, know people have remembered your special day. The thought that those people have actually touched that card and written a personal message is a nice feeling too.
In years to come pens will be a museum item!!
