measured in what? turnover, profit, number of product lines, warehouse space, number of staff?
worldwide or in Britain? Tesco's ventures abroad haven't got anywhere much; Amazon is huge everywhere.
According to Wikipedia:

Employees:
Amazon 222,400
Tesco 500,000+

Turnover:
Amazon US$89 billion (approx £61 billion)
Tesco £71 billion

So, by both those measures, Tesco is bigger.
So... keep your prices low with fewer employees and you are bigger ? Sounds a recipe for high prices and overstaffing :-) As folk say it depends on the measure. Amazon ore global which is a large footprint. You pays your money and takes your choice.
