I am a man (well I was when I last looked) I hate shopping with my wife, what do you expect of a male in this gruelling task? And what celeb would you want to shop with to give me some sort of clue.

I wouldn't want to shop with a celeb, why would I?

I like shopping with my OH - we know what suits each and what size we both are, we often give each other good ideas, he sometimes picks clothes out for me (I don't always like them, same as he doesn't always like my suggestions) but he doesn't mind it at all. Having said that, we generally only clothes shop about three times a year!

I hate my man shopping with me, I feel guilty all the time that I'm dragging him round doing something that bores him. I suppose the obvious choice would be a man who thinks like a woman, Gok Wan maybe?

i hate shopping for clothes and trying them on in-store, however, Bruce Oldfield or even Gok Wan could help when I'm panicking for something special to wear. Food wise I think Nigel Slater would be useful for the weekly shop.

When I shop, especially food and household shopping, I go in with a list, get what I want, and clear out. I can't bear browsing or window-shopping.

Hate shopping, such a waste of time. Don't do browsing. Don't do comparing the price of a tin of beans, etc. I always take a list and get what's on the list (I am buggered if I lose or forget the list).

Wouldn't dream of shopping for clothes with lordalex. He just gets too bored and irritated.
Prefer going on my own really as then I can wander round and round again without anyone wondering why.
Not too keen on going grocery shopping with him either as he goes so rarely that he has no idea of the price of food and almost has a seizure when the time comes to pay up.
On the whole I think I'd still like to go on my own even if I could have anyone I wanted with me.

Be patient. Don't moan. Don't tell her everything is "nice", or she'll know you're bored and couldn't give a stuff!
I can't remember the last time I went shopping with a man. Take it as a massive compliment that your wife wants you to go with her! :-)
