I don't believe anyone under the age limit as Yorky Lass has stated will receive WFA. DLA alone doesn't qualify for it. DLA recipients may qualify for cold winter payment where the temperature is below a certain degree for so many days providing they are in receipt of means tested benefits. That is what I understand, maybe I am wrong and apologise if I am.

I am younger, its because I am on DLA.
Well I was unaware that DLA was a qualifying benefit for Winter Fuel Payments, interesting.

They don't tell you that on their site.
Question Author
if you are on other stuff as well, which I wont mention here mamya.
Got mine this morning, and yes DLA does qualify as long as it is at the higher or middle rate for 'care'
We haven't got ours yet, maybe next week.
Thank you, worth knowing.
do all pensioners get WFP ?
Question Author

Anne I think yes all pensioners get Winter Fuel Payments as they were asking better off pensioners to give it back last year if not required.
I am not on pension credits but I get fuel allowance ,unless there has been change .
