we have friends here tonight for fireworks and pizza, then tomorrow they are hosting a bigger "all pitch in event" with fireworks and food supplied by them and all the guests.

Just hope the rain stops :(
what are your plans dusty?

It's generally dead here too, plus it's peeing down now.
I will be comforting the dog........enough said.
Staying in the warm and watching tv
Been there done that ...stood in a muddy field in the wet and cold waiting for 10 minutes of fireworks ....
no.... ill be in the bathroom with harvey, and rescue remedy.
Why does ANYBODY want TWO consecutive nights of fireworks and bonfires?

Surely one night is enough.
nope, used to love them when we were kids, potatoes thrown on the bonfire, burning your hands while trying to eat them red hot but still raw,oh the nostalgia.
I won't be doing anything Dusty. Not keen on fireworks.

A few years ago I was crossing a road whilst walking home and some kids on the other side of the road let a firework off sideways. Just missed my legs by a couple of feet. I was so angry but you can't talk to kids anymore without getting verbal or physical abuse back at you.
it's nor raining here , and No I am not going to a bonfire, those who are, enjoy !
Neither! No desire to have anything to do with fireworkers whatsoever. I shall watch Corrie - how exciting!!
Who's Harvey Anne - your fella!!
I shall view a large display from my cosy balcony, they have one at the cricket club over the road.
nah i shall be watching the last of true blood curled up on the sofa!
Hi dustypuss,

We're doing ours in our gardens about 6.00'sh, as i've got a gig later in the evening, so have to leave about 8.00pm.........then mrs bear and the family are off to an organised event with some good friends, where they'll be a hog roast BBQ, massive bonfire, huge fireworks display, and the local radio station with top jocks spinning the tunes. Hopefully a good night if the weather holds.......not looking great at the minute down here on the south coast.......booooo :0(

Whether anyone's having a firework display at home or going to one.....heading out on the town.....or not bothering and just chillin' in and relaxing nice and cosy at home tonight, have a great night and a safe one, folks.....and a super weekend too :0)
