Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

With all due respect, the film question is incredibly easy

These quizzes come out twice a year and we get 3 months to complete - hence the flak when help is asked for too early. This is the first time ever that I have managed to get to (now) only 4 to go and a month still left to complete. So I was testing the water by asking for clues - but maybe the flak throwers are all at work!!!

So what is the clue for 18? Is it about a jolly fellow or the 1998 film?

"a jolly" is another name for a Royal Marine. Next 4 letters are another word for old and the last 3 another word for a university fellow. The clue I gave was for the whole word not the reasoning behind it.

These are cryptic clues and all the answers either begin or end with A
The clues are as iver first descibed them; that is
18. A jolly, old fellow in the last war (10)....first two letters refer to a jolly then a word for old then a word for fellow
22 Write off in a recess (8)...Starts with A, then a type of lock
31. Legal notes made in error about Moriartys assiostant (9)....an anagram of "made" around the name of Moriartys assistant.
It is quite a difficult quiz of 100 questions, I have just about finished it, although uncertain of some of my answers
