Anybody got any ideas? The battery is fully charged and I've cleaned the roller which had quite a few hairs wrapped around it, but it still won't start. As far as I can remember it's about four or five years old. TIA.
Mine did this it was the on off switch. Got a new switch off eBay and a neighbour fixed it for me. Saved a fortune gtec said I needed to replace at a cost of £80 which was the complete bottom as did not fix a switch alone. They just replaced complete unit you had to keep battery and handle the rest replaced.
The battery comes with a 10 year warranty so contact GTech before doing anything 01905 345 891. Hopefully they will be able to solve your problem over the phone
My air ram has segmented green lights to show its charged , or not
OH is fond of running into the ground, so if it really flat the lights don’t appear when plugging it in . Thinking the battery was done I bought a spare. Only to discover that if you leave it on charge for a while eventually it lights up . Now have 2 batteries, so we can do “a quick change” if we are on a cleaning marathon
I don't run mine into the ground, I only have a small house which doesn't need loads of hoovering. I'm baffled to be fair as to why it's suddenly stopped working. I'll see if I have some luck when I ring the number provided tomorrow.

I think you are probably right Giggsie. The on/off switch has been a bit hit and miss for a couple of weeks now, but I always managed to get it working in the end. My brother in law is going to have a look at it for me and if it is the on/off switch, he will order me one and replace it - thanks.
It’s only tiny wire in there that’s the problem. My neighbour said easy fix £9.99 off eBay. Yes mine was the same on/off sometimes go on others not. But rip off for gtech to fix.
We were having problems switching ours on and off, I found this on YouTube, we didn't have the lubricant shown but we had some WD40, so gave it a go and it now works a treat.
