Q24 shows an actor either emerging or entering a still, deep blue sea with arms upstretched and open wide. His torso is naked and I can't see what he is wearing below the trouser line - merman, trousers, tail, shorts, nothing?

it may be a young Tom Hanks but I could be completely wrong there.

I would be grateful for any clues as to the name of the film please.

Sounds a bit like The Perfect Storm which I think starred Tom Hanks.

What about "Castaway"?

Saw this earlier, now have the quiz & you asked for a clue rather than the answer, so to others, please don't answer unless greensquares is still stuck :-)

It's not Tom Hanks, but Tim Robbins in one of the greatest prison films ever made - imo, of course...

Lie-in King you can't clue me into no 19. Fairly sure actor is Tow Cruise but can't work out actress. I've tried the 3 films he made with Nicole Kidman but to no avail. I cannot find the still I need. So I wonder if it is another actress. I think he looks like he is military but I've tried top gun and Maverick. Maybe I'll try the one about honourable men.

No I've got the Tom Cruise one but it wasn't what I expected at all. A hard and bitter movie
Are you happy with your answer to 19? It's not Nicole Kidman, it's Valeria Golino...
