Well done, Twix! (I love it when someone beats Mamya to it, even if it's not me!)

Good morning all - well done twix - hope everyone is well - I'm off for my first covid shot today - fingers crossed :))
Good luck with the jab Steff. Do you know which one you are getting:
You'll be fine Steff. Hoping to hear word when I'll be getting my second, should be soon.
Good luck with the jab, Steff. You'll be fine, I've had the two now and the only affect was my arm was a bit sore where the jab was.
Well done Twix, bar run dry? ;-)

Best wishes Seekz x
I had my second at the beginning of April. My Grandson will probably get the call for his first next week, whereas his partner had her first in March when she was taken into hospital for an emergency appendectomy.

The AZ shot although some of the Pfizer is available here - don't know who you have to be to get one - i don't think I'm one :(

Thanks all - :)
I had the AZ shots, Steff. Think positive, you'll be fine.
I've had both AZ shots and, apart from noticing a very slightly sore arm when I turned onto that side in bed after the first shot (and possibly be a bit of tiredness the following day, although that might well have been totally unrelated anyway), I had no side effects at all.

Easy peasy!
I had the AZ third week in march Steff, felt a tad light headedness, which was gone the next day. You'll be fine x
Hi Mamya.

I'm sitting here after my Zoom pub meeting, drinking a nice 10 year old Claret.

Our normal Friday group had a physical drink last night in our normal old coaching inn on the Dover Road, in order to have a drink with one of our usual companions who returned to his Glaswegian roots a few years back. He flew down from Scotland to attend the funeral of one of our regular golfing friends, who would travel to Ireland with us, to entertain the natives with his rendition of The Banana Boat Song, to much joy (Roger having been born in Trinidad).
I had the AZ with no problems, whereas Mrs. T. had the Pfizer. She bruises easily, which was the only thing that affected her on the first jab. Second one was administered by a different nurse, who didn't leave a mark.

As Tonyav said, think positive and you'll be OK.
