Ten tac(k)le
Ten = few
Tackle - k (kilogram) = grab
ten + tackle minus K???? ....although should be Kg so maybe am wrong
It's not a brilliant clue. K would indicate temperature or potassium, not weight.
or a 1000 generally.
We wondered about maybe the missing g (for gravity) gives the weightless but could'nt make that work
K, kilo, is in Chambers, so seems OK?
K can stand for kilo(s)
It’s still pretty unfair though.
And tentacles don’t have to be underwater
not convinced, but kilo just means a 1000 - we run 5k so k can also mean kilometresbut, tho a can see were more likely to say weighs 30 kilos than ran 30 kilos.
It is in the dictionary but Kg is the more common abbreviation for the actual weight. I suspect what is really meant is it’s short for the prefix kilo-
Collins dictionary does give kilos as an option though
Ichkeria, Chambers seems to cover both - k - kilo or kilo-'.
