Hello everyone. I have been given a fun numbers quiz sheet from our local choral society to complete, the only prize is a bottle of wine.

I am stuck on the remaining six out of fifty questions and I wondered if anyone could help me please?

1) 1 D and OC in a S
2) 1 P of F (M of V)
3) 40,000 IM in an ET (A)
4) 3 PTPOES
5) 26 SP in a RC
6) 2 OA and OCA in a M of CD

Many thanks and Happy New Year!

^3 (Approximately)?
6 Two oxygen atoms and one carbon atom in a molecule of carbon dioxide
5) 26 is often chromosomes or numbers of weeks in half a year. I'm trying to make it "26 sxxx pairs in a rxxx's chromosome" but can't get any further than that.
5, 26 Separate pieces in a Rubik's Cube?
Could be, though I think a standard cube has 20 movable pieces and one solid centre piece with six faces.
//The Rubik's cube appears to be made up of 26 smaller cubes. In its solved state, it has six faces, each made up of nine small square faces of the same color. While it appears that all of the small faces can be moved, only the corners and edges can actually move. The center cubes are each fixed and only rotate in place.//

Yes, but the middle cubes aren't strictly speaking "separate" pieces. If you take a cube apart, you end up with 21 individual pieces:
