Stuck on two questions in this section of a laborious quiz so any help would be appreciated.

1. Arguably the crookedest street in the world. (7,6)

*. The word arguably is the crux here a I've got it down to either Vermont Street or Lombard Street.

2. The oldest avenue of Imperial Russia. ( 6,8))

I see what you mean about Vermont Street though.
Wiki says, "This has led the street to be dubbed the crookedest in the world in competition with the better-known Lombard Street (Vermont, while steeper than Lombard, has fewer turns)".
I think since the clue reads "arguably", then by definition both answers are correct, although personally i would go with Lombard as it has more turns.
