In the Christmas Radio Times there are 50 clues to TV programmes in a large picture. Until someone can find a link to the picture, some clues will only make sense to those who can see it. Here are 25 I need help with:
1 Dickensian style cartoon of a man sheltering from the rain under an umbrella
2 The word Forgotten crossed out with a red zig zag
3 Metallic W inside a circle
4 Dark figure by a lake and heavy clouds ? Top of the Lake
5 Welsh flag with mortar board on dragon's head
6 Swirly design which could be icing sugar ? Bake Off
7 Meteor flying over turreted chimneys ?? X Factor
8 The letters LIFE in white and black on red, blue, yellow and green
9 Small grey mound of ? ash
10 The words CRIME + CRIME
11 The words "You can run but can you hide"
12 The words "Do not feed the humans" with accompanying road sign
13 Pictures of couples and children
14 The words "Casual Worker wanted"
15 An Egyptian looking cat on a stand
16 Woman with red dress and white ruff ?? Ripper Street
17 Woman in a green coat ? Downton Abbey
18 The words "Any colour as long as it's black"
19 Arabic graffitti
20 Map of the UK with a woman's face
21 The word WILES ? Lewis
22 A headdress looking arrangement of knives
23 A red flower ? a tudor rose (surely Wolf Hall is clued somewhere)
24 Yellow and blue design in shop window (if this is one of the clues)
25 Small "fairy on the tree" design (if it is one of the clues)
Thanks for any suggestions, Ramsfan

Here is a revised list from my previous answers. I now have 47 out of 50. 2 of the questions, No 6 and No 9 with a choice of two possible correct answers for each question, plus 1 question No47 with no answer at all. I worked on the first page of the picture in columns, top to bottom, moving across left to right. The second page I worked across, left to right, in lines...

The men in the window is The Dresser. I can only guess the the rose is Wolf Hall, but I'm not entirely confident as it differs from the book cover.
I'm stuck on just 4 of the clues; the picture of someone standing by water, the Henry Ford quote in a circle, lines stop and the Egyptian cat. Help please, I can provide clues in return.
lines stop is pointless
The person standing by water could be River

Thanks for loads of tips guys. I don't think that the person standing by water is either River or Poldark (although it was a good excuse to Google images of Aidan Turner!).
I did wonder if lines stop was an anagram but as it was so close to another one I discounted it - but it makes good sense.
I thought 23 may be I'm a Celebrity and that 40 is Big Bang Theory.

Hi,
I can confirm that the silhouette of the figure looking out to sea is definitely POLDARK. The picture is taken from the end of the opening titles of the series. Check out this Vimeo video link:

In think 42 is a mouse not a rat, I think it's Danger Mouse
Hi,
Re; my previous list of 1-50 of the answers. I now know that
No 32 is POINTLESS.
No 40 is definitely the BIG BANG THEORY.
That just leaves 3 sort of unanswered
confirmation needed for:
No6. Meteor. ?X-FACTOR or ?YOU ME AND THE APOCALYPSE
No9. Small pile of ashes. THE ASHES or ASH VS EVIL DEAD
and the answer to
No47. Shop window - Egyptian cat on blank award. No idea about this one.
Hi,
Re No42 Dynamite tied to rat. Thought it was a series on Sky where swamp rats were hunted then blown up with dynamite. Answerbank have starred out the second word but it is 8 letters beginning with B and ending in ARDS. RAT B---ARDS. you're right it could be Dangermouse.
There is a sign over the shop window reference Chris Evans TFI Friday show has no one spotted this?
Yes I've got TFI Friday
I'd say that 23 is I'M A CELEBRITY.... The woman known as Lady C walked out of the show..ie. Sold Out.
Thought the batest cat was Egyptian but not got any idea yet on which programme it relates to anyone know this one?
Top of Xmas tree is not a clue, nor is the washing on the line in the shop. Painting on left is credit sequence from Poldark
If you google Lady C sold out its to do with Lady Chatterley remake not being very raunchy
Hi, RE: my previous list of answers. No23 The Shop window sign “Lady C sold out etc is definitely LADY CHATTERLEY’S LOVER because when book was controversially published in the UK in 1960 it sold out in one day, hence the clue. And the clue on top of the Christmas tree is correct. It is the relic that Lance found in the last episode of the DETECTORISTS.
