Sorry Sam but can't see any evidence in that link that the paisley terrier was ever used as a working dog.

Never read the clue prudie suggesting it was a working dog we were trying to find, read it as a "clue" to a breed of dog only !! Hence Clydesdale as in Clydesdale Horse ??

sams link is to Clydesdale which is a paisley terrier but also a shire horse

I didn't think at first, is this quiz slightly cryptic because of course a Clydesdale horse could do the work of a tractor but not that little dog, I assume that's what Sam means?
