Morning anne, i looked at one of your previous posts and you reckon that i am quite elderly what age is elderly to you :-)

Yes I am okay now thanks a bit of bronchitis,but anti-biotics soon take care of that,long may they continue working,I think I saw in a previous post you also had a chest infectrion recently,it must be catching!

Yes i had a chest infection on hog many was supposed to go out that night but had to call off it has taken the last 5 weeks to sort out, but feeling much better now.

It"s fine anne, i am not insulted, i turned 65 in november 17th last year but even with all my health problems i don't feel it :-)

when I said ' elderly' I should also have added that you had had some health problems. ( vak. do you think I got out of that one ) unscathed :)

Certainly anne,you sure did,well dodged lol. It is not easy on here really to judge someone's age unless there are or have been tell-tale giveaway signs previously,that is part of the fun and joy of it!

Yes a bit of fun, talking about age i have to go for a heart scan next tuesday it seems folk of 65 need to do this it just routine.

I did not know that was routine now,I know after retirement they want people to have an MOT sort of thing,it makes you laugh and then they complain about everyone living too long!By the way Billy am I right in thinking are you due to go back for a review to Aberdeen sometime soon as well?

I was in aberdeen 2 weeks ago, and miss griener was happy i go back in 6 months time, i went for an eye checkup last week and got new glasses the left eye was down a bit not bifocals this time but verifocals, har to get used to.

Oh I am way out of touch then,you have been already,glad the doctor was happy with you,this year already has flown by,I don't know where the time goes,a good outcome is always nice to hear.I was offered bifocals and I turned them down as I did not fancy them I just use two different pairs(stubborn you see)it will definitely take a bit of getting used to your new ones then.

Can i ask you what job you did or are still doing, hope it is not a cheeky question.

I have not been working for many years now due to ill health one way or another,I was a receptionist before that and long before that did some nursing,but that is a long story.

Nursing very dedicated job, it is a shame your health has not been so good, i worked in a butchers when i was 12 years old then at 15 went to another butchers stayed there for 20 years then owners retired, got a job at the slaughter house then was head hunted by the owners of the last shop i worked was the manager for for nearly 20 years, the rest is history :-(

Head hunted eh,you must have been very good at your job,and as you said previously thoroughly enjoyed it until early retirement was forced upon you,incidentally I noticed on a previous thread our conversations seem to intrigue and concern at least a couple of Abers,so do you know anything about a throwaway E-mail address as I do not want to put my real one on here in public view,I don't know how you feel about this?
