OH has gone off to London to see Micky Flanagan, kids are staying at their mates, Prendi could be up to anything so I have the house to myself and I'm going to enjoy it!
Torn between the Rugby League Grand Final and the Speedway GP. We have a British hope (Tai Woffinden - with an Aussie accent) with a couple of fingers on the trophy. He needs just six points, to become the first British rider since 2000, to lift it. He crashed two weeks ago and wrecked his collarbone for the second time this season.
Mr N has been out to a golf comp so has returned fed and watered and sleeping on settee atm, I am eating toast and smoked salmon in bedroom watching BBC1 which he won't. So a highly exciting night looms ahead for me!!
Both going for a walk with the Dogs shortly,
I'm cooking when we get back, nice bits of Fillet Steak,
Then a lazy evening in front of the box, with a couple of CD's
on standby just in case, there may be some Alcohol involved.
;o)
Mission accomplished for our seventh World Speedway Champion, Ed. Battled back for a point in his first ride, and then won his second (With his main rival in third) to get the well deserved bumps.
We don't usually go out on Saturdays, so it will be a bottle of wine for Trish, a couple of ciders for me and catching up with any programs we've got on the Sky+ box.
Ed, I've been trying to turf him (as you so eloquently put it) for the last 39yrs, but as I cannot survive on my wages of sin (ooops sorry) of being Ibiza Editor, I shall have to keep him!
