9. C + Lips?
8. Hungary?
Question Author
Thanks, my thoughts were Malta for that one.

Wouldn't Hungary be just one country with a hot stew?

5.Stew (art)
Could Around the house 9 be CHAIR?
(Sorry for over simplifying my conundrum answer. I sort of needed to make sure it worked.)
Question Author
Valanne,

that's a brilliant answer for the conundrum and I think chair is the right answer, too.

Tara 20.... can't understand where Stew connects with James and Patrick, can you explain, please?
5 I get it - James Stewart and Patrick Stewart (without the art) and to be in a stew is to be in a mess (troubled)
Question Author
Thank you boxtops. That's cleared that one up!!

Just need an answer to

Around the house

Q14 Side by side store the classic word (9)

Just need one more ....

Around the house;

Q14 Side by side store the classic word (9)
Question Author
still need answer for this last one.....anyone out there??
Hi Canasta, I'm out here again. Still trying - I've been walking round the house looking for things that have nine letters! No luck so far, I'll keep trying.
Please post the answer if you find it - it's driving me nuts now.

Same here, Valanne. A friend has come up with a suggestion of 'Bookshelf' I'm not sure it fits as neatly as I would like but what do you think?
My son suggested that but we didn't feel it fitted apart from being the right number of letters. A side by side store could be a shelf but what is the classic word?
Question Author
Books?
It's a bit woolly isn't it?
Question Author
I agree. I will just have to keep thinking and hope someone comes up with a better answer if I don't. Strange that I haven't had any responses for this question on here.....I wondered whether it was so easy and I was being thick so no-one was answering me!!
