Having completed the cryptic crossword on my iPad I’m unable to sent it off electronically. Anyone else had this problem ?

Where you enter the email address just has a blue film around it. Have deleted the app & reinstalled but still getting the same results

Thank goodness thought it was just me. I’ve emailed the Telegraph so see what they say.
Yes same problem here, re-installed the telegraph, turned it off/on no joy. I also have problems with the other puzzles so I think it’s a systemic issue at the Telegragh.

Just copied onto my wife’s iPad with the same result, very frustrating
Sorry folks for being so late to the party, but I’ve only just found you.

I wish I had some good news for you all, but alas I’ve been in exactly the same boat since early October, having tried just about everything I can think of. Apologies ExiledinNotts if this depresses you even further, but I emailed DT’s digital services on 20 October, only to receive an electronic reply explaining they were “very busy” and would reply as soon as possible. Nothing yet, needless to say! Just how busy can they be, I wonder?
Hello again, folks. Here's what I received from DT Digital services at last today; nothing much, but at least they seem to be on the case and I hope it's of some consolation for you all:

Dear Reader

Thank you for your email. We apologise for the lateness of this response.

We are sorry to hear of the issues you have been experiencing with the Telegraph Puzzles via our Editions app. We can confirm that we are currently aware of these issues and are currently waiting for an update that will fix this and a few other bugs that have been reported. This fix will be available to you in the form of an update becoming available on your device to download.

If your puzzles issue relates specifically to Prize Crossword submission, our Puzzles Editor has recommended using the following workaround for specifically submitting your entries to the prize crossword until further notice when a permanent fix will be released:

“The best workaround will be for you to screenshot the completed puzzle (on the mobile device on which they are playing) and then to email it to [email protected], where it will be entered into the main draw for that prize crossword, along with postal entries and other email entries. The prizes for these draws are as follows:

· Saturday cryptic crossword: three first prizes of a boxed Telegraph fountain pen, and twelve consolation prizes of crossword companion notebooks

· Sunday cryptic crossword: one first prize of a boxed Telegraph fountain pen

If submitting into these prize draws, please have either "DT NN,NNN" (where NN,NNN is the puzzle number) in the email subject field for the Saturday crossword, or "Sunday Cryptic NNNN" (where NNNN is the puzzle number) in the email subject field for the Sunday crossword. In both cases, the body of the email should also include your name and postal address.”

Any other issues with the puzzles including problems with entering characters or wiping of solutions, we believe this to be operating system related but would also recommend deleting and reinstalling the Editions app from your device to try and resolve the issue in the meantime.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience during this time.

Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected]. Alternatively, you can call our free helpline on 0800 332020, or for outside the UK 0044 1622 33 5007. Our representatives are available to take your call, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
