Magazine Competitions

There are two magazines issued weekly which I buy purely to complete and enter the competitions, which I thoroughly enjoy doing.
However, has anyone noticed that it can take perhaps 10, 20 and even 30 years before you may be lucky enough to win something?
In which case I don't stand a chance - wont be around for that long.

Yes, if a crossword gets 50000 entries a week and there are 5 winners each week, it will still take 10000 weeks on average- that's 200 years - for you to win. And I bet some get far more entries than that
