Dear Editor Mail on Sunday, hope you are reading these comments, I stopped doing the Lancelot crossword when you changed to texting now your YOU mag crossword wants me to text the number of letter A s instead of posting a crossword Forget it. Time to change Sunday newspapers I think.

I stopped entering the You Crossword competition on the introduction of the text entry.
I have for one.
Here in Northern Ireland we can get the You Magazine, it comes with the
Irish Daily Mail (Identical to the MOS ) the crossword is the same (always has
been) prize money is in Euro. simple do the crossword (the A's not included) and send with your name and address to:
You Crossword No 1,328
P.O. Box 5332,
Cardiff Lane
Dublin 2
Republic of Ireland

Cost of postage 87p (post no later than Monday)

Good luck, hope this works.
I stopped entering when you were unable to post it off.
Add me to your list. I could afford to pay the £1 text charge but I'm not going to do it. I'm now saving a second-class stamp every week, though!
Me too !
You're far from alone I think it's a big mistake -far too costly for no reason beneficial to the reader.
Yes, a number of us have stopped. We used to meet for coffee during the week and check answers, much like we used to do 60 years ago after exams!
Pity they didn't keep it up, but we felt the writing was on the wall afte Lancelot ceased being competitive.
I've stopped too. Apart from the extra cost, I'm also put off by the concern that my number might be passed on to other interested parties. I already receive texts about PPI mis-selling and such like. I don't want any more. It will be interesting to see if You Mag realises it has made an unpopular change.
I've also stopped entering. It's just too expensive. I'm hoping the Prize Crossword doesn't change also.

the paper costs too much ,I am no longer buying it.
I also stopped on principle and emailed the paper to say I was no longer buying it.
I have
87p's not that much different to £1......
I've stopped doing it now. Refuse to pay £1 plus text fee. Been doing the Prize Crosswordr about 40 years but if they change that then bye bye Mail on Sunday.
ah - plus text fee soon bumps it up
Next to go will be the Prize Crossword and in my books that means stopping the Mail on Sunday. From 3 crosswords I did I am down to one in that paper. At least the Express has the Prize Xword, Crusader, and Giles. I refuse to text the answer or ring up - it is far too expensive. Daily Mail take note.
I no longer enter for same reason.
I intend to stop doing the crosswords as it is too expensive to forward the answers. I am unsure as to why the Ms gonedown this road.
