A poignant week this week, three years ago I was in Gloucester Infirmary to attend to the last days with my father.
Those four days and nights were so searingly painful, yet so exquisitely loving, it was the most powerful experience of my life.
Is there a phrase to describe this crossing of emotions that does a bit better than Bittersweet?
