26, an age when I finally felt grown-up but still young.

30, old enough to know better, young enough to ignore it.
Tricky.

It would be difficult, because as I know, having had more life than I am going to get going forward, it is all my experience of life so far that makes me who I am.

If I were to stop at say, twenty-three when I was really happy and enjoying a wonderful single life, I would never know the utter joy of marriage and children, or the utter heartbreak of losing people I cared about - both of which go to making me who I am now.

So hypothetically, obviously, I am going for twenty-three, and when life either stops there, or moves on and all my friends and family go old without me moving with them, I won't have to worry, because this is just an interesting question - reality makes it far too complicated!
17 and embracing everything good about the 60s, the fashion and the music
a bit of andy and a bit of vulcan, really - 20 but on a 30yo's wage.

Great answers :-). I also can't decide between 17 and 50 (haven't got there yet)... but a choice between a lot of straightforward fun... or basic contentment... x
pixie - I wonder if the experience of both makes you the person you are - as it does me?

I wasn't around in the 60s, bobbi, but I think I would have enjoyed it :-)

I'm sure it does, Andy x

It would mean I haven't even reached halfway yet.
Probably looking back with rose tinted specs Pixie but it was an exciting time to be a teenager
I'm not sure that makes sense but I know what I mean (perhaps I have lost my mind?)

You have, Roy, and I know what you mean :-).
Bobbi, it sounds like it.. I had a great time in the 80s, 90s. But probably, life is more settled and better now. Still waiting for 50 :-)
25. I learned to drive; I stopped being skint; I had two boyfriends at the same time - I wasn’t cheating, they both knew about the other; life seemed to suddenly come together. I looked ok too. Sigh!
Right now I'd like to be out of the covid high risk group
30'ish.

I'd had happiness and heartache which taught me much. I wish I could take some of todays happiness back with me....and the cash :-)
Do you mean you could go back to the time you were say, 30, or do you mean you can choose to be, say 30,for the rest of your life but in these days now?
If I went back to when I was twenty nine I would miss having my two youngest children, but I would take being 30 now for the rest of my life -it would take a lot of medication and cosmetic surgery though lol! 30 is a good age -old enough to know whats good for you but young enough to take no notice...……….
Didn’t mind being 50 then 60 , even 70 as I’m relatively fit and haven’t any health problems but this morning I walked from where I live to the Metro centre ( closes anyway) it’s quite a long walk and boy did I feel the tug on my calf muscles from being in for over 10 weeks, I felt my age ....but just fleetingly :-0)
23. I was in Australia and very nearly didn't come back.

My post didn't seem to appear... whichever you prefer, apg.
Tiggs, I was in France for 6 weeks when I was about 25, and also very nearly didn't come back. I only did because my eldest was due to start primary school shortly after.
And bobbi, I have noticed that already... :-)
It seems, most people would prefer to be younger...
Any year in my thirties which were the best years of my life.
