did anyone watch this last night. I did and confess was having great deal of trouble hearing the dialogue in parts. Great performances by all, but not exactly sure why some of the words seemed to slip away, perhaps it was the rather overriding music.

perhaps next episode will be clearer..
I am recording all, will then watch..but I find that with certain progs..
what's supposed to be backround music, drowns out conversation.

at varying points thought was going deaf, it's very good btw
Question Author
the programme that is, not my going deaf...
Noticed that with certain films as well.

trouble is it's very wordy, so you really have to listen. Adapted by Tom Stoppard so you can get the reason why it's good. Besides i think Benedict Cumberbatch is brilliant, not just in this.

just to add that I am not going mutt and jeff as i thought, some people who wrote to the BBC, twitter and other websites had the same problem. According to one chap it's the poor sound quality, glad that's sorted. Hope next week's episode is clearer otherwise fear the old ear trumpet will have to be dug out the back of the wardrobe.
