What an excellent letter and oh so true, and there are many people out there who feel exactly the same. If it does extend to 31 January, come 31 January, you can bet your life it will be extended again and again ad infinitum !!!

Us?
Question Author
Well maybe you are happy for it to drag on?
I’m happy for anything that prevents a no deal exit.
At least three months more, as always...
Question Author
And I just want it to end!
I would assume that even if you want it to end, you would want it to end well, no?
Question Author
Yes, if it’s a no deal then so be it
No-deal is well enough.
No-Deal is awful. Just sticking fingers in your ears doesn't change that reality. If that is your definition of "well enough", I dread to think what a "bad" outcome of Leaving would be.
Better to wait a couple of months to get a decent deal than to potentially ruin the economy by going for a no deal just to speed it through.

In other words, has Boris picked his ditch yet?
Question Author
It’s only ‘awful’ for the remoaners!
Personally like thousands more I’d say enough is enough
It will be awful for everybody, UK and EU alike, Bobbi.

Question Author
That’s your remain opinion Jim
Yeah, that's, just, like, my opinion man. And also the farming industry's opinion, the motor industry's opinion, the opinion of the scientific community, the opinion of every major economic analysis, and the opinion of even the government.

And mine as a Brexiteer( all new words in Collins dictionary)
Is that the country has had enough, the vote was cast 3.5 years ago, would you like the best of 3?
I want what is best for the UK. I believe that the best thing for the UK, in spite of all this, is to stay in the EU. I hope that the British people agree, or, at the very least, that they get a further opportunity to say so, one way or another.

In all likelihood we are now heading towards a December election.

And you think the next PM can resolve this mess?
Do you think it's possible to scrutinise and debate 110 pages of a Bill with any number of amendments, in a few days?

Do you not think proper consideration should be given to such a Bill? Even some of those who voted in favour of the agreement wanted more time to debate the Bill.
Depends on the outcome. If Johnson gains a healthy majority, which I also think is quite likely, then presumably he'll be able to resolve it to his satisfaction, at least. If it ends in another Hung Parliament, then who can say? I think in that situation the only sensible step would be to concede a second referendum, and see what that leads to. But such a referendum could only plausibly be on ratifying some deal or other.

TCL, as a layperson, I’m sick to death of the *** coming out of Westminster, I don’t claim to know the why’s and wherefore’s but can say, hand on heart, I’m sick of it , it’s a joke!
