Good news from a City that may be returning to some normality and even the chance to smile. Now in this World of tears - that is News.

The link is from BBC news, so the BBC must also think it's news?
Don't fret, AOG, there is still plenty of space available on AB for you to post all of your usual downbeat 'the sky is falling in' type of threads.

Personally, I like to see news articles with an upbeat theme...
Mamyalynne

No need to be so rude Mam.

But for your information the link that the OP supplied was by her own admission must have changed, because her thread was solely about Nigeria's answer to Michael Jackson, ie a Nigerian Traffic Policeman, gyrating like Michael Jackson.

So before you rudely state that I would really rather grumble about the lovely Policeman, that (lovely???) Policeman was the person under discussion.

So stop getting you knickers in a twist.

See I can also be rude, when a person is first rude to me.
jackthehat

Oh dear it would seem I have woken 'The Sister Hood'.

Yes more girlie chatter it would seem.

Isn't there a separate category for that type of thread?
The first link posted with the football video has some good and heartening dialogue on the same City the lovely Policeman works in.

Thank you for your concern re my underpinnings all the same, macramé was never my hobby of choice.

aog
there is no sisterhood, whatever makes you think there is,
you also need to take a chill pill, some of your remarks are
bordering on the rude.
Mamyalynne

/// Now your title makes sense ///

Even you admitted that emmie's title now made sense, after you had read the correct one that was posted by wolf63.

Apart from sniping and whinging, AOG, do you have any pertinent points to make on the 'dancing policeman'?

Question Author
somethings go over people's head.
emmie

Some of the remarks against me, yours included are not just boarding on rude, but are definitely rude.
I read and watched them both and they made me smile and I hope the improvements continue.
Question Author
mamy, so do i, hence the post, though some don't get it at all.
jackthehat

I am not the one who is sniping and whinging, apparently.

But gor your information dancing traffic cops are not new, they have been preforming for a long time, but I must admit in all the time I have been on here, this is the first time that I have seen them, as being important enough to be on the news section of AB.

But if that kind of thing floats your boat, here are a few here, and I do believe the 'lovely' cop in question makes an appearance.

Enjoy:

How petty of you AOG!
Islay

No you can't join your sisters, buzz off buster.
AOG I don't need to join anyone as I am big enough old enough and ugly enough to be on my own but that does not change anything - you really dislike it when anyone else posts a thread in news. Its not your private domain AOG - get used to it!
Question Author
we need more dancing, less war,
should write that on a t shirt, would sell a bundle i reckon.
I would buy it
The more fun and music the happier everyone would be.
