It turns out she's Eastern European. Has she seen the "Go Home" posters and taken it literally? Was this 13 year old traumatised by the governments racist campaign.

I hope all the bigots who organised this are now happy that this kid has disappeared!

I'm with you 100% JJ. Don't like your avatar though, it reminds me of my wedding night.

Link?
Alternatively, something completely different could have happened and you're just jumping to conclusions. Wait until she is found...

Jude, are you quite well?

Sorry, cross-posted. Well at least now we know what he's talking about.
From the looks of Franks's link, this seems more likely to be an abduction case. It might not be of course, we'll need the full story to emerge, but you can't possibly link this to those posters. They weren't even shown in Sheffield, for goodness' sake!
Hope she's safe wherever she is
Linking her disappearance(and all other possibilities and scenario's, 6 days is not good) to the Go Home posters is pretty pathetic really and the two are in no way linked.
Extraordinary post !

BBC, ITV and Sky only broadcast in London then!?
I'm not sure why you connected this story to the silly "go home" posters. If you want to post about the posters it'd be better to have a separate thread
Depends on how much attention she paid to the news -- but given that someone has been bailed on suspicion of abduction, I doubt the posters had anything at all to do with it.
I do like a nice rational question.
Do you seriously think a 13 year old would look at one of those posters and think 'best pack my bags and buy a ticket 'home''? What an utterly stupid suggestion.

This kid could be travelling across Europe with no food or money. Hope she receives more help and understanding than she got in the UK.
If she's travelling, she's not from Sheffield.
Please answer, if you are so convinced, why a 13 year old girl would think to do such a thing and leave her parents here frantic with worry?!
