There seems to be much speculation amongst all the main political parties that there is a liklihood (yes really) of us being asked if we wish to remain in the EU. Would you wish to have the UK leave the European Union in an organised manner, as is possible, some time soon?

Despite "decimalisation" and "metrication" in the UK we have made no real effort to complete joining the EU in the last 27 years. We may have changed our coinage to decimal currency, but then stuck with the pound not the Euro. We may have gone "metric" for day-to-day measurements but still persist in using miles.
We are a major contributor to messing up the EU...

Yes, and I don't care whether it is in an organised or disorganised manner, the sooner the better.

we should be able to trade with EU yet not be ruled by EU,Germany is now able to take Europe without bombing anyone, the Saxons already raided us already
I personally think that in the unlikely event of us getting a referendum it won't be a simple "Do you want to stay in the EU, Yes or No".

No they will word it more subtle than that, so as to keep us in the EU.

I don't think we should withdraw altogether, but we should revert back to just a Trading Union. (Common Market) what it was first set out as.

We should have control over our own laws and borders.
yes the sooner the better, we can then go back to getting that lovely New Zealand lamb.
I'd have to study things a bit more before voting, as I don't understand all the implications of leaving. I'm not pro-Europe per se..............
the EU has always been about Germany leading, no surprise there....I would love us to come out as I guess some other nations would, for eurozone countries it will be much more difficult. The EU adage is do as Germany says if you want help or else suffer, Greece being the prime example.

The implications are simple; by leaving we would no longer have to kow-tow to a bunch of Krauts and Frogs and their greasy hangers-on who have robbed this country blind over the last forty years.
since we no longer have control over our borders or anything else that matters then the politicians will huff and puff and do nothing no matter what the outcome of a referendum.

Yes but what are the down-sides?
yes and then hopefully cameron wouldnt be giving all our money to the bureaucrats who live like lords on the back of us!

Blimey I think we should start conscription straight away (see my thread below) :0)
As I understand it we joined the EU to improve our trade with Europe, and theirs with us, not to hand control of GB Ltd to a foreign power, we could have done that in the early 40's if we wanted to, but we turned down their kind offer.
Let's get the hell out of it. We should never have joined in the first place.
And while we're on the subject, let's bring back the Iron Curtain. All these East European nations have climbed into the EU gravy boat - all take and no give.
I can't imagine all those Euro MP's and hangers on allowing us to vote them off the huge gravy train that is the EU.
I'd vote for us to get out,our economy is big enough to survive without being a member.
Did Germany loose the war? I think not, all them lives lost for sod all, regards Trading from the UK, what trade? What Production? What Law? anything else? do we follow Greece, Portugal? Spain is on the way, how much warning do we want?
Yes we should leave as the EU will now become a federal state led by Germany, and yes we will still have trading rights if we leave.
when we do leave ( think positive) will we still be screwed for the perks/pensions of all the has been politicians like mr and mrs kinn... or that mandel bloke.?
