I think I'm not too far away from you, Mikey. The moon doesn't look huge to me. Very bright, and possibly full, though.
It's a full moon I believe - last night when the dog and I went out at around 10.30pm is was a bright as daylight - wonderful
Thanks, mamya. Interesting site. I've bookmarked it.
I see a bad moon a-risein'. Actually, I can't see it from here. But what's that bright star in the Eastern sky? It'll sink below the horizon at around 9:00 pm

And a thanks from me as well Mamy....not sure how we would manage without you !
huge moon here hovering low down..also very bright star as Lyn says...
That just my backside, I should really put some clothes on.
It is a full moon tonight and the moon is still fairly close to the November perigee which saw a supermoon. The next supermoon will be Dec 3rd 2017.
I've just looked out of my West facing window and it just looks like a normal moon to me. I remember a few years back when we were promised a huge-looking moon. It turned out to be the dampest squib I've ever seen in my life

We see the same surface of the moon all of the time; it doesn't revolve like the earth, so it's about time they sent men back there to erect a Coka Cola ad
I was waiting for that one!
Nah that's Uranus Arks. :))
It'll look larger when it gets close to the horizon
Lol Togo, I can't answer that one. ;-)
Actually, the bright star's in the Eastern sky and the moon in the West. Sorry about the Fake News
Other way round (I wish I could edit things on here). Moon in the Eastern sky, bright star in the West
That is Venus not a star Lynn.
Beware of were-wolves.. now they're scary.
