Michael Buble - Vocoder?

Just heard 'Beautiful Day' on the radio. It sounds like Buble has used a vocoder on this track - is this right?

Me too - on tracks by Man Parrish, Soul Sonic Force etc. They used the Roland SVC 350 on most of those AFAIK.

I'd bet it's more likely to be Antares Autotune or Melodyne that was used (will check).
...yep Autotune, annoyingly over used in the more - how should I put it - 'chavvy' music of today!

..except in this case it's mostly Melodyne that is used which is why parts of it are arpeggiated.

I remember back in days of electro music in the mid 80s whereby the throat mic was put to good effect.

I don't care what he used - he is gorgeous and sings beautifully!!!
It's kind of alright though if you can sing anyway, which he can.
