Which band would you like to see reformed for a last hurrah?

The Smiths, Abba, Gabriel/Hackett Genesis, S Club 7, or someone else?

Just a bit of fun. They have to be alive, so no Beatles, Floyd or Nirvana I'm afraid.

Definitely Abba. I wasn`t a fan at the time but a reunion would be great. I don`t think it`ll ever happen though. They could name their price to anyone who got them together on a stage again.

Rikki Nagasaki and The Panzer Death Boys.
Genesis , when Peter Gabriel was in the band , was amazing , the double album " Lamb lies down on Broadway " was simply brilliant . I'd like to see Genesis and Dire Straights ... Not much not to like about Mark Knopfler
The Smiths, though it would be easier to re-unite The Beatles than getting Morrissey and Joyce in the same room!
damn that means no Bread grrr....can't wait for the book next year.
is there any who have not reunited ? would the stones add up to 300
Wham!! Would love to see them perform all there songs together again...
James McCartney, Dannii Harrison, Julian Lennon and Zac Starr. I know they're not The Beatles but I believe they are available !
Simon & Art Garfunkle.

They did reunite a few years ago, and toured again, and for some stupid reason, one which im still kicking myself for, I didn't buy tickets.

:-(
The Verve I think, I'd like to see them live.

This presupposes that the band reunited would be capable of performing like they used to. Clearly, in this case, they wouldn't! Gabriel couldn't be Rael these days any more than I could, and it's uncertain whether Phil's back problems will allow him to play the drums again.

BTW, your keyboard appears to be inserting a space before every punctuation mark...
I saw Dire Straits (not Straights) in their heyday...
So did I, boxy. Tried to get tickets for the Mark Knoffler tour next year but no luck

My other choice would be The Police.

Er, that actually happened a few years ago...
So? The question says Which band would you like to see reformed for a last hurrah?
My answer is The Police.
I saw the a police on their reunion tour at the MEN. Stunning.
None...............they are, in the main, nothing like who they used to be.

That's the whole point, M-T. I deliberately didn't go to see Genesis when they reformed a few years ago and, from what I've seen of it, I'm massively glad I didn't!
A bit like going to see Thin Lizzy MR. Farcical.
Yeah, that's just daft. These "Washington's axe" bands make me laugh. I appreciate that they're just plying their trade and trying to make a living, but who on earth would want to see a "named" band with none of the original members who are just piggy-backing off their name...?
