Afternoon,

How do you keep three kids "happy" for long, summer road trips?

I require some professional advice, and anecdotes please :)

I'd also like to hear about failed attempts!

Another tenner on windscreen. Bucket full of beads. Length of string. First child to string 500 beads gets tenner. Brake gently.

Stick a tenner to the windscreen. First child to spot the escaped kangaroo reported on the news gets the tenner. ;-)

I always had my personal cd player to keep me occupied. I was quite happy watching the cars go by and listening to music. Either that or my cousin and I would just find a million ways to irritate each other! :-)

Tenner, donated by Mick T. on windscreen. Loads of paper and coloured pencils. Child who designs the most avatars by the end of the journey gets the tenner.
