Alright so I got a request to have an update for Chance.
Chance is better actualy he is ALOT better I think she uses a collar that when ever he barks there is a sound that we can't hear but the dog can and it must be a bad sound because he doesn't bark anymore but I DON'T think thats the right way to do it...
I think it's kinnda sad because my aunt already has a dog and might give away HIM or Chance because her money is really tight and can't afford two dogs if she is to give away a dog I think it should be to a family member one he knows so he doesn't have to go through the whole procces of
" Why are you leaving me again??" Because that is NOT what he needs
Thanks for any help

She has a job now so she will probobly be able to take care of him ok Chance loves her! You want to know why she took him? She took him because when he was on the street he was calm and relaxed by her but anxious and nervous by everybody else that was trying to save him. Which is why she took him in ready for what ever it takes.
I think it's the cat he's scared of the cat......

Question Author
I feel bad for both...
Question Author
IF she is to give Chance away, which Im pretty sure she wont I mist dont want to see him in the shelter again! My whole family has a dog and a baby on the way (defininetly not my aunt and uncle who is expecting their first baby) and my grandma just lost her husband :( and my family has a zoo 2 gerbils 2 rats 5 fish and 30 snails (closetothat) but I Love dogs and will not hesitate to getanotherbut I still live with my parents so... Any ideas?
Question Author
What to do........... what to do........ I hate to see dogs with no homes in shelters I'm better with dogs then I am with people!
i replied on your original thread about chance. still don't understand why an experienced dog owner would take on a dog with anxiety leaving problems, and expect that they couldnt devote enough time to deal with it,other than resort to "the ghastly collar":-(
what that collar does is teaches him to suppress the barking. He is still stressed and unhappy and more likely to do other things because he no longer has the barking outlet. It is a stupid stupid idea as was taking on a second dog in the first place.

He responds to me too... but not as well he's licked me and doesn't do that to other people besides diana
the dog is better off in a rescue centre rather than being passed around from home to home. animals need stability.
Question Author
cazzzz then other people will want him and it will happen all over again
he may be fortunate enough to find a patient person who can afford to look after him, he will never achieve that in his current position.
Question Author
cazzz she is patient and will probobly be able to afford him my earlier posts was just in case and in fact he is very happy there! Ok?
it was obviously a concern enough to post, If she does find herself in an unfortunate financial position and has to give the dog away, the rescue centre is probably the best place.
Question Author
You just don't give up to you? A Rescue Center is not the best place because he will be alone and have no human attenshon except for the ocashonal walk a family member, like me, would probobly be the best place IF she needs to give him up. See the caps on IF!

Ok look everybody has the wrong side of things and thinks she is a bad owner when shes not.
She uses some kind of no bark collar on him and she's not a bad owner?????? really?????????
Sorry daisy love I think you're flogging a dead horse here. If there is a dog with issues it needs firm, kind stability and an owner who will ensure that it is not further stressed by rehoming it AGAIN because she hasn't got her affairs in order. If she couldn't afford it then she oughtn't to have had the poor dog in the first place, certainly not if she was going to resort to a collar to get it to stop barking, as that just smacks of someone who doesn't know what the hell they are doing and that is the last thing a dog whose already distressed needs. People are bound to draw conclusions about things from the way you've posted as evberything sounds so erratic, unplanned and unknowledgeable.
