I swapped my engine for a stage 2 Chevette engine with DCD carb .. Magnum rostyle wheels. Had to get a lump hammer to the footwells so front wheels would lock over!
Ended up with too much power .. snapped half-shafts three times.

Too much power from a Chevette. Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd read. Had a Cavalier Mk1 2.0GL as my fist car. Had to find places with a sloping car park as the bugger would never start.

Chevette Stage 2 was up to 71bhp .. that's loads in an HA .. twice as much as original!

Whenever I went to Stockport Salvage they had a Viva in stock. Google them.

Mighty fine car the Viva. Courted the woman who is now my wife in a Viva. Big back seats, could get up to allsorts ;-)

Mine was tan vinyl! Slippery interior. : )
Also mine had opening Q lights to let warm air out ; )
