wiper linkage on fiat seinceto

wipers packed in te other morn got home checked wiper motor okay stripped front under bonnet found linkage arm nearside fell off.clipped wiper arm onto like an alluminnium ball with 4 teeth but motor end only hooked big hole of arm with four teeth over a small ball.is something missing from ball to fit linkage. thank you

There is usually a cupped plastic bush to connect the two. I would think this has worn/broken and dropped out. Ask Fiat if they do the bushes for each end .. or the link/drive arm.
