Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is a magical, fantasy adventure film. This is the fifth is the Harry Potter series, based on the book of the same name by J.K. Rowling. It is a continuation of Harry’s story and the ensemble cast has a few extras including Imelda Staunton, George Harris and Michael Gambon.

On the whole the film was well received. Unfortunately, many viewers found that too much had been cut from the original book which perhaps detracted from the experience. However, as the author was closely involved with the making of the film it is perhaps part of a big picture which will become clear in the final films of the series. Audiences found the actors are continuing to live up to their roles especially the three young leads.

This is a much darker story starting almost at the end of the previous film when Voldemort has been reincarnated. The start of the film sees Harry and his cousin, Dudley, being attacked by Dementors in the street. Harry manages to save them both and Dudley gains a new grudging respect for his cousin, however, Harry is expelled from Hogwarts for his illegal use of underage magic. Fortunately he is later reinstated and sent to the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix where he finds there is a large number of witches and wizards (including many him already knows) who believe his story that Voldemort has come back and are battling in secret against the forces of darkness.
